This is a consequence of a large patch introduced in 2.11.12 in commit
c438e137ee2d11051754659358a34c960d131f58 applied on 12 Jan 2007 to fix  
138.  It also
fixed 55.  Previously the tie simply went through the accidental, so I  
don't think
this is strictly a regression.
