I have a couple of hours to spend for this around the second week of  
February;
anyway, I'm almost completely unavailable from now to February 1st.

As for the translation build system for the website, I'll take care of  
copying the
parts of the build system of the old website that convert annotated images  
(for Text
input page) from SVG to PNG translating text strings through gettext; are  
you fine
with saving the generated PNGs in Git (it's already the case for the images  
with text
in English anyway IIRC)?  For all the rest, it should be quite  
straightforward, I'll
have a look at it too.
