This could be the output if the beamer does not see the \times 2/3.
tuplets are not really covered by the beaming patterns. My personal take
on this
would be that we declare that for any non-declared length, the next
declared whole
multiple of its length will take over beaming.
That would considerably simplify the default beaming patterns as well, and
it is
quite in line with the assumption "later note values can't cause rejoining
of earlier
beam splits".
