Take a look at the following:
\markup { \concat { \center-column { Ooooooh ah }
\center-column { Ah oooooooh }
\center-column { Ooooooh ah }
} }
It would appear that the middle column has no horizontal size at all.
I think that's a regression in comparison to the last stable version.
