As such, it's not part of lilypond itself, so this won't be a
Critical issue.

Don't get me wrong; it's certainly worth pointing out this problem
with issue 1228, and if anybody starts working on that patch, they
should definitely address this!  But I can't defend holding back
the next release candidate for this.
