Fully agree that this should NOT  be merged with issue 1097, because the  
real issue here is not really the rectangular box of the clef, but rather  
that the volta bracket starts before the clef is ended and thus the boxes  
of the bracket and the clef overlap.
Fixing 1097 would appear to fix this bug, but this bug will also appear  
with key signatures (which will not be fixed by 1097).
