Thanks, the default version on 10.04 ubuntu is the 2009 version. If I  
download and try to install the most current (it is part of 12.04 unbuntu)  
it says I need python 2.7.

Is Python 2.7 ok (assuming I can update that too? - the repos for 10.04  
don't let me by default update past 2.6.x).
