Hi Sami,

I've had a look at all the posts and I don't think there's all that
much to be said. I think all the trouble arose because you were trying
to do something quite tricky, even for an experienced user.

The documentation for autochange [1] looks fine to me but it only
deals with the simple case where there is only once voice and it is
the one created automatically.

I've taken your original post and re-written it to be suitable for
submission as a snippet, see attached.

I wasn't able to reproduce the warning due to the initial \bar
command, though I do reproduce David Kastrup's recent bug report which
I believe arose from your original post.

So, in summary, I don't find a bug here but there are some
shortcomings in the docs. I'll create a doc suggestion to address
that.
