I'm really sorry, I should read what I write more carefully:
I forgot to accurately describe the problem.
The problem, as the subject of my email implies,
is the space in the .app name: if the application name
is e.g. "LilyPond2.16.2.app" (or any other name without spaces)
the compilation is successful.
