I don't see where you put more than whitespace between any pitch and its
_corresponding_ duration here.  So, like quoted above, you don't get a
single note as long as you put more than whitespace between a pitch and
a following duration.

Note that this is not entirely strictly correct since you can _still_
get a single note for something like

\relative {
   c''!='' 4.
}

Namely, not just whitespace but also forced/cautionary accidentals and
an octave check may appear before the corresponding duration.

The point is that if you write

    c16 d 4. 2

that this is

    c16 d4. d2

rather than

    c16 d16 d4. d2

Whitespace is not significant: a duration will only become a standalone
note if it cannot be attached to a preceding pitch.

I recommend that you work on the English translation before trying the
Italian one as the English version is used as the master for most other
translation and improving stuff there is going to help all translators.
