You can do this for all Lyrics by doing

\layout {
  \context {
    extendersOverRests = ##t

Alternatively, wait for 2.19.58 where the default has been changed
accordingly.  Fixing this properly would require analyzing what the
dorito extendersOverRests actually does and what it should be doing
