Subject: Long compile times with many empty bars
Hello everybody,
I was a bit surprised that this snippet took so long to compile, and the
time increases somewhat exponentially with the number of bars:
%%%%%%%%%
\version "2.19.80"
{
\time 3/8
s4.*500
}
%%%%%%%%%
The compile times on my machine were:
for 100 bars: 1.5"
*200: 10.0"
*300: 40.9"
*400: 1'49"
*500: 2'50"
Does that maybe warrant raising an issue?
Best, Simon
