Hi list,

\caps doesn’t work if unless it’s the very last markup command before the actual text.

\fontCaps seems to have no effect at all. Shouldn’t it enable the smcp feature?

\version "2.21.0"

\markup \bold \caps "AaBbCc" % ok
\markup \caps \bold "AaBbCc" % FAIL

\markup \caps { "Aa" "Bb" "Cc" } % ok
\markup \caps \line { "Aa" "Bb" "Cc" } % FAIL

\markup \bold \override #'(font-features . ("smcp")) "AaBbCc" % ok
\markup \override #'(font-features . ("smcp")) \bold "AaBbCc" % ok

\markup \fontCaps "AaBbCc" % FAIL
