Subject: Error during executing of GNU make in OpenVMS

Hello,

We are using GNUmake version 3.79.1 under OpenVMS 7.3.

During execution, we get the next error message:
$ make
cxx /NOLIST /DEBUG/NOOPT
/INCLUDE=("../../","../../third
_party/",dmq$user) /NOUSING_STD/DEFINE=(__USE_STD_IOSTREAM,DEBUG)
eventqueue.cxx

make.exe;1: vfork: no such file or directory
make.exe;1: *** Deleting file `eventqueue.obj'
cxx /NOLIST /DEBUG/NOOPT
/INCLUDE=("../../","../../third
_party/",dmq$user) /NOUSING_STD/DEFINE=(__USE_STD_IOSTREAM,DEBUG) main.cxx

make.exe;1: vfork: no such file or directory
make.exe;1: *** Deleting file `main.obj'
%NONAME-E-NOMSG, Message number 00000002
$
It is correct that an attempt is done to compile eventqueue and main. I do
not understand the message "vfork: no such file or directory".

I have enabled all priviliges and still get this errormessage.

Can you help us ??

Thanx in advance,
