make problem

Dear Sir

I am Paul DI from IT department of China State shipbuilding Co. I met the problem as follows:

The os is ubuntu-10.4.03-server-i386

1. sudo tar -zxf   db-4.8.30.tar.gz

2. cd db-4.8.30/build_unix

3. sudo ../dist/configure --prefix=/usr/local/BerkeleyDB

4. make

make: *** [mut_tas.lo]  Error 1

Please solve for me this problem. thank you very much.
