Details:
realpath(3) on *BSD does not return NULL nor it sets errno to ENOENT if the
passed file does not exist, so the following simple Makefile behaves
differently:
all:
@echo $(realpath nonexistent)
The attached patch makes sure to call stat() after realpath(3) too.
