I still can't get it to work:

Missed that it also needs the "sh" as a foreign command to run Bash.

Replacement patch attached.

What do we need to do to get the patches to for the tests to be run on
VMS checked in?

Hi John. I was away last weekend but I'll have time to work on this in
the evenings this week. I've been following along as best I can (not
being a VMS user) with your conversations.

If you point out to me the current agreed patch for this I'll look into
adding into the repository.

0001-Test-harness-updates-for-VMS-take-2.patch.gz from 4/1/2014.

Hartmut Becker wanted to change the name of the test_make.com script and put it in the tests directory.

I would like to eventually move all the VMS specific code and scripts into a vms subdirectory.

Do you have any access to Git in your development environment?

I have Git on cygwin and am NFS serving the directory to the VMS systems used for development.

I am away from those systems until this weekend though.

Regards,
-John
