Details:
I have a simple make file with a single pattern rule.
make fails on files whose name contain a space.
Several (not all) versions were checked and these failed:
4.2.1
4.1
4.0
Stock 3.82 does NOT fail.
However, the 3.82 distributed with CentOS 7 does fail.
Checking several (not all) of the patches they apply, make was found to fail
after applying make-3.82-stem_glob.patch which relates to bug #39310.
