Summary: documentation for line translation in socket operations
Original Submission: I just downloaded 7.7.90 to test the line translation
change in socket operations. It works well. I forgot initially that "n", not
#f, was the way to ensure that no translation was done.
May I suggest changing the documentation for `open-tcp-stream-socket' and
`tcp-server-connection-accept' explicitly to mention using "n" to turn off line
translation? Right now, it says "If this is unspecified or #f, then lines will
be terminated by CR-LF...", but that doesn't make it clear that lines that are
already terminated with CR-LF will also be modified. (At least, it seems that
that was what was happening to me.)
Thanks!
