[Bug-mit-scheme] MIT Scheme under Fedora Core 3 gives seg. fault

   I have installed Scheme 7.7.1 from source files. On running the
executable,  I get the following message:

   >> A hardware fault has occurred within critical section "band load".
   >> [signal 11 (SIGSEGV), code 1]
   Segmentation fault

   A gdb bacttrace gives:

   My machine is a P4 running Fedora Core 3. Please let me know how to
solve this problem.
