Hi,
I just spent a considerable amount of time figuring out how to make
"date" display the week of the year, again. The "+"-sign slipped my
mind.
When I read something like
>>> date [OPTION]... [+FORMAT]
I can't tell if the "+" is meant as a literal plus-sign or some
placeholder/manpage secret syntax/voodoo/formating thing.
I don't know if I'm suffering from a special kind of disability, or
if manpages are indeed hard to read for the average user.
If it's not solely my own fault, then please consider adding examples,
that would make it a lot easier. Something generic like
>>> date "+%d.%m.%Y - %H:%M:%S"
would be fine, the formating options are very well explained anyway.
MfG
