[bug-obsolete-packages] paste utility

Hello, I'm trying to use the paste utility
from your UnixUtils package to perform some unix like functions on my WindowsXP
system. I've gotten grep and gawk to mostly work the way I need them to,
but paste doesn't seem to be doing what I expect. I was looking for a line
by line join of 2 or more files, but if I paste two files together and
let output go to standard out, all that's on my screen is the contents
of the 2nd file. Is there something I'm doing wrong?
