[bug-obsolete-packages] join-syntax (dos/windows) Unxupdates.zip

Dear sir/madam,

I downloaded Unxupdates.zip file (unix command on dos/windows ). But join.exe 
is not working.
I am trying below mentined syntax.

join -1 1 -1 2 first-file second-file.

key-field is 1st field for both files.
Join.exe is not giving output.

Please send me exact syntax with example.
