You seem to have found two bugs: --joblog and --nonall seem not to work together:

parallel --joblog /tmp/log --nonall -S .. hostname
wc -l /tmp/log

--files and --nonall seem not to work together:

parallel --files --nonall -S .. hostname
(no list of generated files)

Thanks for that. They have now been added to the bug queue.

The –files and –joblog qualifiers are not working correctly as far as I can tell when I specify multiple remote hosts to perform a single command on.  The a server with parallel installed is running OS RHEL 5.9  2.6.18-308.13.1.el5 #1 SMP Thu Jul 26 05:49:19 EDT 2012 i686 i686 i386 GNU/Linux

--files seems to be acting as a NOOP and –joblog generates only 1 entry instead of 1 entry for each remote host.

Commands like this:

parallel -j 10 -k --files test --tag --nonall --sshloginfile ../prod/atl-2013-q3.txt "date; hostname ; yum check-update --exclude=*vmware* "

I can’t find any files being generated.  Where are the log files supposed to be?  I would like to be able to tell the program where to put the logfiles.    Also if I specify –joblog only 1 entry is created that I can see when the execution completes.
