Alternatively, set ControlMaster (and ControlPath) and ssh to the remote
machine(s) in a separate terminal manually before running parallel. You
don't have to enter the passwords again, then.
I have this in my ~/.ssh/config
Host *
ControlMaster auto
ControlPath ~/.ssh/address@hidden:%p
