Ah, so it seg faults if the /dev entries don't exist?
I can't reproduce the bug here... removing /dev/XXX doesn't make a
difference.
So, you it segfaults in ped_device_probe_all()
BTW: think in terms of "fixing libparted properly", not "getting it
to work with what you want". That way, everyone benefits :-)
