Hi, the bootdisk image uploaded on ftp://ftp.gnu.org/gnu/parted/bootdisk/
seems to be corrupt...
[root:~]# dd if=partboot.img of=/dev/fd0 bs=1440k
dd: /dev/fd0: Invalid argument
0+1 records in
0+0 records out
0 bytes transferred in 48.115434 secs (0 bytes/sec)
I get this using at least 5 different disks, and on two computers
(using freebsd's dd and windows98 (rawrite)).
Here's some info on the file:
[root:~]# md5 partboot-1.2.11.img
MD5 (partboot-1.2.11.img) = e021fda50fc5913aae9492b219e0a4e8
[root:~]# ls -l partboot-1.2.11.img
-rw-r--r-- 1 root wheel 1468347 Oct 19 17:36 partboot-1.2.11.img
Hope i'm not doing anything wrong...
