I got this error when trying to check a Compact Flash disk that I have
mounted in my PCMCIA slot in an adapter.
progeny:/usr/bin# parted /dev/hde print

containing the version (1.4.4), and the following message:
Assertion (walk->geom.length > 63 * 5) at disk.c:1008 in function
_disk_check_sanity() failed.
