Ah, here is a little update on my bug report. I did not answer Yes on the 
FAT32-creation. Sorry to have missed that. I made the parition using the 
--script argument. It didn't hit me last night that FAT16 might be the default 
choice by Parted.

I'll post some feature suggestions regarding this in another post.
