I am currently trying to create a parted boot disk set with mkpart and the parted source files. I configured the parted source with

./configure CFLAGS="-Os -march=i686" --disable-Werror --prefix=/usr/ --disable-nls --enable-all-static --disable-dynamic-loading --disable-pc98

which I figured would create a tottally static binary which would not need any libraries. However once I boot into the floppy set. Parted complains that Reiserfs is not supported in write mode, or something to that effect. However in the documentation it says that with the libraries available(or with the flag --disable-dynamic-loading) the resize command works with reiserfs. Perhaps I am doing something wrong, any help would be greatly appreciated

Thank you in advance

Terry

What version of parted have you used? As I remember, there was problem like this and it was fixes in later versions.
