Dear Sirs,
when trying to resize a EXT3 partition, I always find parted complaining
about incompatible(?) (or invalid?) features, that are enabled on the
partition. I don't know, which features parted is talking of and
therefor I don't know, how to fix this. Can you perhaps shed some light
on this nasty behaviour?
Here is the output of "parted /dev/hda3 print"
Disk geometry for /dev/ide/host0/bus0/target0/lun0/disc: 0.000-39083.625
megabytes
Disk label type: msdos
Minor Start End Type Filesystem Flags
1 0.031 101.975 primary ext3 boot
2 101.975 1129.570 primary linux-swap
3 1129.570 16386.613 primary ext3
with kind regards
s. schober
