I still have no bug reports. Speaking about possible cause of these
problems, I'd mention, that there is no tree check before resizing.

There are only simple checks if super block looks sane. Thus, before
resizing, you should be absolutely sure, that your reiserfs partition is
not broken somehow (most often tree nodes with wrong level are
possible). The best way to check this is of course to run reiserfsck
--check first.
