Mmm, it seems this patch is not yet applied to 1.6.18. I fixed it, and have
attached it here again.

Andrew, it may have slipped my mind, maybe you told me that i should apply it
myself to CVS, right ?

Other patches in the debian package which may be of interest are :

amiga.dpatch:
  Adds amiga filesystem support
devfs.dpatch:
If /proc/partition probing fails, don't assume standard
partitions, but try out devfs style partitions too.
lvm2.dpatch:
Find LVM2 devices by looking in /dev/mapper
msdos-disk-label-detection.dpatch:
If the label contains the Smart Boot Manager loader, do not
treat it as a single FAT partition.
no-clobber.dpatch:
Removed a fs->clobber assertion that did break since the
amiga filesystem does not provide a clobber op.
s390.dpatch:
Another s390 bigger sector size patch, replaces Bastian's
  more limited sector-size pactch.
sun_disklabel.dpatch:
Some older sun disk labels were previously misparsed.
ubd.dpatch:
  Recognize UML UBD devices.

All of these patches are available in :

svn+ssh://<user>@parted.alioth.debian.org/svn/parted/trunk/parted/experimental/debian/patches

Don't know if the browser view of those is already activated again, but all
those who have access to the parted CVS should also have access to the above
svn repo, or if not, i can attach them here too in a later mail as asked.

Friendly,

Sven Luther
