Error in Parted ver 1.6.3

Hi,

I am executing Parted on RedHat Linux 3.0

getting following error message.

Assertion (geom!=NULL) at geom.c:90 in fuction ped_geometry_destroy() failed


I am trying to increase partition size which is 100% used
