I guess there was other informations to report along with "Please report 
to bug-parted". Can you tell us what it was?

It probably should... :)

I think you can probably configurate a block device as RAID0
of /dev/sda and /dev/sdb with standard Linux tools, so you
might be able to use *Parted on the block device you obtain.

Yeah, sometimes you don't have a floppy disk drive anymore on
today computers, so using a floppy can be pretty hard :P
