It would be good if he could also upload this latest version to ftp://ftp.namesys.com/pub/libreiserfs/ The version there is 18 months old. (Or have the old version removed)
AFAIK the latest release is 0.3.0.6 which has very serious fixes however I don't know from where it could be downloaded.
I definitely need to make a good hosting and activate development. Version 0.3.0.6 really last one. I did nothing about it since that. Just had no time.
I plan to rename progsreiserfs to libreiserfs and also add some new functoinality or sanity tests. Also I think that would be good idea to find an active developer for it and I will help him as I can with codding and advices if needed ;)
I'm even more puzzled to see that Yury has a namesys email address. That address doesn't work anymore but yes, Yury wrote that non-namesys code when he worked for namesys (maybe only in his spare time) on which reiser4 userspace code is also based on now :-)
I do not work for namesys anymore almost for two years. I have quit just after reiser4progs was generaly finished.
progsreiserfs was not developed when I worked for namesys. I did that before working for namesys swith help and advices of many people. Thanks a lot to all parted people and exactly to Andrew Clausen.
As for my emails, I have few. They are: address@hidden, address@hidden, address@hidden I think that should be enough to contact me ;)
The responsibility of "whose code" is starting to baffle me.
Namesys has nothing about progsreiserfs. Relation was just I looked at original stuff to understand who does reiserfs work.
Thanks. -- umka
