received this while using qtparted

config Prim IDE master = maxtor 60
prim IDE slave = empty
sec IDE master = DVD/RW
sec IDE Slave = empty

512 Mb ram , VIA C3 1Ghz CPU
booted from Knoppix CD vers 4, qtparted v0.4.4 on top of window

This Maxtor drive was created from a Samsung 80 Gb drive by using the
dd if=/dev/samsung of=/dev/maxtor, which completed without any problems.
