Error when resizing an HFS+ partition

So this is my (far less detailled than before) bug-report about this :

Erreur: Trying to register an extent starting at block 0x135D63, but
another one
already exists at this position. You should check the file system!
Erreur: Could not cache the file system in memory.
Erreur: Data relocation has failed.
Erreur: Resizing the HFS+ volume has failed.

I'm trying to resize (shrink) a 55GB HFS+ partition on my G4 iBook,
kernel The filesystem has been checked and re-checked, this is
not the problem. I know i have enough free space to shrink it by 10GB
(i've got 23GB of free space on it).

I know this may not be very useful informations, but if someone (apart
from Leslie ;-)) could help me on this, i could provide additional
information if i know what to check in the code (i saw the
--enable-hfs-extract-fs in the configure, but it produces some big
files : about 100MB, so ...)
