Yeah, didn't look like it made much difference.  I just had to export it, since I was cross-compiling, and causing configure to fail (since it couldn't check it).  Thanks.

Thanks for the report.  The typo actually appears in aclocal.m4 and was
reported and fixed back in February.  (It has no effect on the configure
process anyway.)
