When using recins/recset to update a database, I receive an error as
follows:
recset: error: renaming file /tmp/recRfcHQ1 to /home/swflint/file.rec
Output of recset --version is:

FS in question is BTRFS, with 43% use. On NixOS.
Yes, this is a known bug in 1.8. It happens when /tmp is mounted in a
separated filesystem.
You can workaround the problem defining the TMPDIR environment
variable. Try, for example, $ TMPDIR=. recset ...
