Hello from Eastgermany!

Yesterday (7th July 2021) I accidentally found "GNU Recutils" and I
think I immediately fell in love with the project! I think I finally
found what I was looking for since ages.

I noticed that that there are no links in the online manual
[https://www.gnu.org/software/recutils/manual/] to the all-in-one
manual in HTML format [accidentally found at
https://www.gnu.org/software/recutils/manual/recutils.html] or to the
PDF file of the manual.

Using a search engine and searching for "recutils pdf" finds this
file: [https://www.gnu.org/software/recutils/manual/recutils.pdf]. But
the title of this PDF file says that this is for version 1.7 from
March 2014. The current version is 1.8 from January 2019 (according to
the timestamps of the download directory). Also, the all-in-one HTML
manual covers version 1.7, too.

Can someone please generate the PDF file (and HTML file) covering the
current version of "GNU Recutils" and upload it?

I also noticed that there is a nice overview of available format of
the Emacs rec-mode manual available at
[https://www.gnu.org/software/recutils/rec-mode-manual/], but the "GNU
Recutils" user manual lacks this nice overview.

I'm sorry that I cannot help anyone but to point out things I noticed.

I'm sorry for my bad English. I hope this email is accepted by

Thank you very much!

With best regards!
