     The GPL does not allow removing such a message once the program has
     it.  So this must be used with caution because it can turn into an
     excessive burden, depending how the program is used in the future.

This is not a concern.  The copyright holder (that's us) always has permission
to remove it.   If and when we deem that it is better not to have it,
then we can remove it without further consideration.
