The tar 1.15.1 source should already be portable to HP-UX; all you
should need to do is to type "configure; make; make check; make install".
This should work for all versions of HP-UX that HP itself currently supports.

If you're looking for a precompiled version of tar, then you'll need
to find the HP-specific porters that do that sort of thing.  Sorry, I
don't know offhand where they are, but a web search should find it for
you.
