The person from redhat does not seem to know this, this is why I did repeat it.

BTW: as Linux seem to implement NFSv4 and as NFSv4 includes support for the
superior Solaris xattr interface, I would propose to implement a xattr archive
method that is based on Solaris xattrs. This is why I call the current star
implementation for Linux xarrts deprecated.

Solaris implements xattrs via a "files in a file" concept that has no real

What we would need to do is to define a map mechanism between the Solaris xattr
concept and the Linux xattr interface.

Is anybody interested in working on this kind of concept?
