An archive in `shell archive' format is provided as well
(tar-1.15.1.shar.gz).  You will need sharutils to unpack it.  If you
don't have them either, you can download the sources directly from
cvs (see 'http://savannah.gnu.org/cvs/?group=tar') or via rsync
(rsync cvs.savannah.gnu.org::sources/tar-sources.tar.gz).  However, in
the latter case you will need additional tools to build it (see
README-alpha for the description.)
