Just to clarify, bsdtar writes Posix formats exclusively,
not GNU formats. Neither has file path length limitations,
though.
bsdtar is at http://gnuwin32.sourceforge.net/packages/libarchive.htm
That is the gnuwin32 port of bsdtar. The original is at:
