Hi All,
I am Abhishake Jha working in India. I have a query
regarding the GNU Tar.exe in this e-mail
and would very appreciate a response to this
e-mail.
We are using the Tar.exe of the following license in one of
our applications. We are using the Tar.exe
with the following license:

Documentation and Source
code for TAR are available at:

This
utility is invoked by our application. We got an error message by this utility
and we are not very sure about the root cause. Here is a snapshot of the
same:
We use
this utility to create a Tar file, by executing the following
command:
Can you let us know
what the above error "Cannot open \\10.76.244.253\cme-upgrade\Backup06-19-08#13-27.tar: Invalid argument" means? The folder "cme-upgrade" in the
machine 10.76.244.253 is shared and has full permissions, and can be accessed
from this machine, where the application is run.
Let me know if you
have any questions. Your quick response will be highly
appreciated.
Thanks,
Abhishake
