Hi Peter,

Please note, that tar 1.15.1 was released almost 16 years ago
(2004-12-21, to be precise). I would rather refrain from calling it a
"modern GNU tar".

Tar reports this warning if, after extracting a member of the
archive, it finds that the timestamp of the createed file is 0.

There have been plenty of changes (time-related ones in particular) over
the last 16 years of the development of GNU tar. I'd suggest using a
sufficiently recent version instead of the antiquated 1.15.1.

Best regards,
Sergey
