1.11.4 using SSL runs just fine on Windows 2000. So that's not the basic
issue. That is the latest version that I have been able to find Windows
binaries for, bundled with the necessary supporting libraries (in a zipfile).

Has anyone seen a complete, bundled (including supported binaries) version of
windows binaries, later than 1.11.4? Or with explicit download links to the
correct versions of libraries?
