Hello everybody,
Wget and Winhttrack are the best programs available, but they do have a
problem. Neither of the two gets the prerequisites problem right. It
seems they have a problem with inheriting the --prerequisites option
from their parent directory
I've prepared a simple www.medjugorje.eu/test/ directory with a
* link above the test directory (should not be mirrored)
* local image (should be mirrored)
* external image (should be mirrored)
* external image which is an external link (image should be mirrored,
external link should not be mirrored)
Neither wget nor winhttrack gets this simple page right, tried many options.
It seems to me they have a problem with passing on the prerequisites
option to their recursive children.
It shouldn't be too difficult to make a program that saves a page with
all their prerequisites and do that recursively?
I'll leave the test directory for a while.
Can you tell me whether this is a problem?
Hope to hear from you,
Han
